In order to help out folks trying to get started with Apple II emulators, I’ve posted disk images of not only several system disks, but also HyperCard IIgs and several hard disk images for use with Apple IIgs emulators, including a couple custom-configured for my own Sweet16 emulator.

After our last Internet-based phone service provider folded late last year, I hesitated to get a new one for various reasons (but the big one was being unsure that it's worth paying for a more reliable provider). However, I'm in the process of switching credit card payment processing companies, and the likely new provider requires that I offer a telephone number at which Syndicomm can be reached.

So I've got one now. This one isn't technically just a voicemail number; however, since Syndicomm is a part-time business, it's generally unlikely that I will answer the phone. However, if you leave a message, I'll do what I can to get back to you as soon as possible. Email will continue to be the best way to reach me, though. The phone number is listed on the contact page, and is (865) 223-6816.

OK-Writer has now been updated to version 1.3. The new version fixes a pronunciation error for the letter "a," and also now lets you set the default font and save folder. It also lets you disable the "Start Over" button to help smaller children not accidentally lose their work.

Although Syndicomm prefers to do business by email, a few people really don't. So now there's an option for those folks. You can now call and leave voicemail at (865) 245-4040 and I'll get back to you once I know what to do about whatever it is you're calling about. I still would much prefer to do business by email (I'm not a phone person at all), but if you simply need to call, feel free to do so. Email will continue to be the fastest way to reach me though.

I've posted OK-Writer version 1.2.1. This new version fixes a bug that caused printing to cut off the right edge of the text for some documents.

For the last few years, we've only offered our ProDOS 8 System Disks as a two-disk set, both 3.5" and 5.25" in one package. We're now offering them, in addition, as single disk packages, for users that don't need both: ProDOS 8 System Disk (5.25") and ProDOS 8 System Disk (3.5").

We've launched our redesigned web site. It's still a work in progress, but eventually it will have information about all the products we sell, including both products we develop in-house and products we sell under license. Pardon our dust while we work on this renovation! There's a lot to be done as we finish our transition away from our online service past!
